Keke Palmer Responds To Partner’s Criticism On Las Vegas Outfit

American actress, Keke Palmer has responded to her partner’s public remarks on an outfit she wore to an event in Las Vegas.

Dressed in a black bodysuit, and sheer Givenchy dress, the TV personality attended an Usher’s residency show which was held in Las Vegas on Wednesday. During the concert, Palmer was serenaded by the singer, who also gave her a hug.

Reacting to a video from the event, Darius Jackson, who recently welcomed a baby boy with the actress, took to Twitter to express his displeasure with her look for the night.

“It’s the outfit tho … you a mom,” Jackson, 29, wrote in a tweet on Wednesday.

Palmer’s fans proceeded to drag Jackson for his comment, criticising him for “mom-shaming” the actress.

He however doubled down on his initial tweet stating, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife and mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others and he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals for what I believe. I rest my case.”

While Palmer did not respond immediately to his comments, she shared more pictures of herself in the dress on Instagram and hailed Usher for his performance at the show.

On Friday, the actress finally addressed the “you a mom” comment with a video of herself and her baby, Leo, on Instagram.

She also shared pictures of recently released Merch with the inscriptions, “I’M A MOTHA” and “Stevie to the bullsh*t” on her Instagram page.

The actress wrote in the caption, “One thing is certain and one thing is true, I’M A MOTHA, through and through! “I’M A MOTHA”‘ and “Stevie to the bullsh*t” shirts available NOW!”

“Stevie to the bullsh*t” is a popular catchphrase that references visually impaired singer, Stevie Wonder. Palmer commonly uses the phrase to say she chooses to be blind to a situation.

She further stated that motherhood has empowered her and encouraged other mothers to share how their babies changed them.

“To all my mom’s out there, how did your baby change you?? Mine empowered me! On such another level, my perspective changed because when my baby is good I’m GREAT! Look at that face! Gratitude galore,” she wrote.

Following the social media drama on Wednesday, Jackson initially deleted his Instagram and Twitter pages. He however returned to Instagram, unfollowed the actress, and scrubbed out her pictures from his page.
