Under the theme “Positioning for Premium Performance,” this year’s WIMCA is poised to propel the conversation on digital elevation for women to new heights. Joshua Ajayi, the convener of WIMCA and publisher of Brand Communicator, expressed his excitement about the consistent dedication to celebrating women and amplifying their impact in the digital space for a sustainable future.
Ajayi shared, “We are excited that we have remained consistent with our goal of celebrating women and elevating the impact of women in the digital space for a sustainable future. The two-day event will be impactful and memorable for all participants.”
Highlighting one of the event’s key attractions, Ajayi noted, “This year, we continue with the glamour and excitement of recognizing the top 50 women marketers in Nigeria. I can visualize one of the most glamorous and prestigious recognition projects ever hosted for women in this country.”
True to its reputation, the 2023 WIMCA will span two days, featuring exhibitions, masterclasses, awards, and various initiatives designed to make the event robust, engaging, educational, exciting, and memorable for all participants. The first day will host presentations during the conference and the exhibition, while the second day will feature masterclasses alongside the morning exhibition.
The stellar lineup of speakers at the conference includes industry leaders such as Kayode Oladapo, CEO of Godrej Consumer Products Limited, West Africa; Tosin Adefeko, Managing Director of AT3 Resources; Victor Gbenga Afolabi, Group ECO of Hazon Holdings, and many others.
The grand finale of WIMCA 2023 will be the awards and gala night, scheduled to commence at 5 p.m on Saturday. The exhibition stands will fold up at least two hours before the awards evening, adding an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings.
Notably, the event will also honor the “Top 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing and Communications,” a prestigious recognition during the awards and gala night.
