Experts in the digital financial space will lead the discourse in this year’s World Consumers’ Rights Day symposium, organised by the Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) on Tuesday March 15, 2022.

The symposium which has the theme: “Digital Finance: Risks, Opportunities and Challenges for Consumers” is scheduled to take place at the Regent Hotel, 25, Joel Ogunnaike Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos by 10am.

The keynote speaker for this year’s event which is expected to attract stakeholders in the Integrated Marketing Communication and digital finance space among other sectors is Dr. Oluseyi Akindeinde, Chief Technical Officer, Digital Encode Ltd.

Guest speaker is Bisi Oni, Executive Director/COO, FundQuest Financial Services Limited while Dr Ken Onyeali-Ikpe, Non Executive Director, Troyka Holdings, is the Special Guest of Honour.

The theme for this year is Fair Digital Finance and, in commemoration of the internationally set date, a holistic discussion will be centered on the peculiarity of Nigeria’s digital financial space in a bid to proffer solutions to some of the challenges resulting from the country’s budding financial technology industry.

The theme for last year was, ‘’Tackling Plastic Pollution: Challenges, Solution and Benefits’
